APPEARANCE
Were it not for his bright amber eyes, Cherrykit would be the spitting image of his grandfather Cherrystar. This tom is a small one- wiry in build and all ribs and legs. He looks rather weak at first glance. Maybe it's just his youth, but he hasn't but on much muscle yet. The tom is determined to do so though. His fur is soft and fluffy, remaining kit-smooth even later into his life. At the base it's white, sharp and bright as snow. Ginger tabby patches pattern his back, face, and tail. Not a single scar mares his pelt at this young age. His eyes, as previously mentioned, are a bright and round amber. Their color is a beautiful one and matches well with his fur. His nose and pawpads are both a soft kit-pink.  personality
First thing is first- Cherrykit wasn't born in a clan. That much is very obvious. His mother may have taught he and his siblings the way of the warrior, but Cherrykit was very obviously not raised in the environment which he would later come to live the rest of his life in. He doesn't do well with crowds or extended periods of social interaction. This is due in part to his deafness. All of the cats moving their mouths and the scents of groups will completely overwhelm him, even if he can't hear it. Cats trying to communicate with him when he can't understand frustrates him to no end, and he would rather just be alone or with his family. It isn't like the other cats would understand anyways. He doesn't need them. Still, this causes problems when he has to share dens, attend gatherings, and live in a camp. You know, things that would be expected of the leader's son. That leads us to another issue. Being the son of Honeyheart as she tries to pull the clans back together. He loves his mother, and he loves his brother and sister. But this life that they've been thrust into? This was never his choice. When he first starts his training and they begin to have more cats about their home, he'll not be able to stand it. Yes, Cherrykit is a bit of a rebellious spirit. Nothing like his father or grandfather beyond appearance and disability. Being deaf and unable to understand whats going on when cats begin living in your home and forcing you to do things isn't a pleasant experience. Cherrykit will never like crowds, and when he becomes overwhelmed he'll lash out. And he doesn't understand the point of the warrior code at all. No doubt he'll get used to it eventually- if begrudgingly- but it will take time. His own deafness certainly isn't something that Cherrykit enjoys. No matter how accepting his mother may be, and the fact that his brother Gullkit has it as well, Cherrykit will absolutely loathe it once he realizes that he's different from others. Unlike his father who accepted and was comfortable with it, Cherrykit will do everything in his power to avoid it. He hates being seen as different, and having cats try to find workarounds for him makes him feel like a kit, even when he needs them. He's a stubborn tom who won't ask for help and half the time won't accept it when its offered. Very defensive, he'll usually snap at any cats who try. Though he may not admit it, it comes from a sense of guilt. Like he's just something that causes trouble for others. Because of this, he'll think that that's how others view him as well. Like an obstical to be worked around. This is part of his aggressiveness- surely none of the help can be genuine, unless its from his family. They're just helping or interacting with him because they have to, or because they feel sorry for him. And he'll be having none of it. Cherrykit is determined to prove both himself, and the others, all wrong. He wants to show everyone what a fantastic cat- warrior- WHATEVER he can be. Cherrykit isn't the kind of cat who gives up easily. He may have a short temper but he puts it to good use. When he fights, he'll fight twice as hard. When he hunts, he'll hunt twice as long. He won't give in, and he won't back down. When he does believe in something- or someone- he'll fight with all his heart. Cherrykit will not allow himself failure. When he does experience it, he'll turn to a terrible state of mind. But thats just one more reason not to fail. He may not like strangers, but Starclan if Cherry won't be loyal to his own. He'll love and protect his family and close friends with all his heart, never afraid to put his life on the line. If someone insults Gullkit or Patchkit, he'll be the first one on the scene with his claws out. And even if he hates his clan, NOBODY outside of it is allowed to talk shit. Because it might be a terrible and annoying group of oversocial cats, but its HIS terrible and annoying group of oversocial cats! All in all, Cherrykit is a cat who has some issues regarding his self image and dealing with others. He doesn't get along well with most cats, but he loves those close to him with all his heart. He works hard, cares about his family, and isn't afraid to get some blood on his paws.
HISTORY Cherrykit was born to Honeyheart after the destruction of the clans, along with his siblings Patchkit and Gullkit. He, along with his siblings, was raised by Honeyheart alone after his father's supposed death. Due to his deafness, Cherrykit has taken much longer to learn normal skills than the normal kit his age.
