Steam is a fairly normal cat. He has soft, dark gray fur with a white chest, paws, and a white stripe on his underbelly. He will be a rather massive cat, being equal in size and bulk to Glacierstar's son, Cavernpaw. His muscles He has shorter whiskers that are white in color. His nose and paw pads are black from the rough journey through the mountains. He has a few scars on him already. A noticeable one being around his throat that is never really hidden. He doesn't remember how it got there, but his father said he had been clumsy on the journey and fell, causing a rock to cut him open. His mother just barely saved him, He has large ears that are perked on top of his head.
His eyes are the thing about him that is different. His mother nor his father had these eyes. His eyes are a deep purple color. The color of a lilac plant. They're a warm color, though. A friendly color.

Steam was raised to be appreciative, thus he is. He appreciates everything his brothers and father do for him. He always thanks them and would do his best to repay them. He's quite capable at doing this too! He can do whatever his father asks of him....most of the time. He can't do everything, of course. But usually his father asks for him to do things he knows he can do.
Of course, hes also very considerate of his father's and brother's feelings. He will be like that to any cat he meets as long as they're considerate of him and his feelings. He wouldn't want to hurt anybody. He will openly admit that too.
He's a very honest cat too. But that's not always because he doesn't want to lie. He's just bad at it. So he just sticks to telling the truth so no one gets mad at him.
He's a heroic figure, always trying to save his father and brothers' from danger, always wanting to be the one to be the last to escape. After all, he feels as if he owed them.
Of course, he's going to have bad traits. He's very anxious, a worrisome cat. He often questions decisions(in his mind). He's also compulsive. He gets urges that are just sometimes irresistible, so he just does them. It just happens at random times.
Oh an let me just say he's emotionally delicate. He gets his feelings hurt easily and it may take a while for him to build back his trust after you've hurt him like that. Its just who he is.
Gullible is written on the ceiling. Steam would fall for that trick easily. He wouldn't even question it. He would just look up. He's very easy to convince this way, which can be a very bad thing.
Last, but not least, he's ritualistic like his father. He does many things that are much different than what other cats do. For example, his nest is made out of the pelts of prey. Another thing would be wearing the pelts of his enemies.

Steam was born to Stag and Pebble. He was the runt of the litter, his older brothers being Smoke and Shadow. He grew up his first few moons in the mountains and boy did he hate it! He hated how cold it was and how his parents wouldn't let him and his brothers go exploring because of 'danger'. Well, he got away from his parents and brothers one time and went exploring. He wasn't paying attention and went tumbling down a small cliff. Thankfully, there was an overhang about two tail-lengths below. He was down there for a while, calling out for help. Eventually, his father found him and got him back onto the trail, with some difficulty. He had a gash on his throat, but it wasn't deep enough to do major damage. His mother patched it up.
At three moons old, his mother died of a sickness. They buried her and continued on their journey. Finally, now that Steam and his brothers are seven moons old, they made it to the new territories.
