 EVENINGBLAZE I'm Frozen by the Feel in Me general info
APPEARANCE
Eveningblaze was considered small in ThornClan as ThornClan was built of many large cats, but next to any other clan would be considered fairly large. Eveningblaze has jet black fur that has a bluish tint. It's also described as being a night sky black, which is where his mother Splashfur picked his name from. His fur reminded me of her long walks with Hailstar during the Evening time. Eveningblaze has a muscular build because despite being a medicine cat, never lost touch with his inner warrior which made him twice as deadly, not only could he have the ability to kill you with herbs, but kill you with strength as well. Eveningblaze has one orange eye that sparkles with fierceness. What happened to the other? As a young apprentice he lost half his face in a huge explosion that nearly killed him. On the left side of his face you can see parts of his fangs as there is no skin there. Where his eye used to be is just an empty hole. It can be incredibly intimidating if you meet him in the dark, but he's not a monster....most of the time.  personality
Eveningblaze has changed since he was a kit until now. A tom who was rotten to everyone and avoided the nursery because he didn't enjoy the presence of kits, someone who cared about no one and trusted no one changed....at least temporarily. His trust issues stemmed from his sister leaving him to die during their warrior assessment. He was forced to become a medicine cat or retire. This made him incredibly angry at the world, but despite this he was good at it.Eveningblaze learned quickly and enjoyed his work, but tended to keep to himself due to being called a monster because of his face. He did have a soft spot for some, and this will later be explained in his history. When his mother died, he became lost in his work not really paying attention to anyone but his sick patients. He became cold once more, but this would soon change when he became close with Cherryfoot and even his own apprentice Sunpaw. He opened up to the world, and just wants to be understood, he wants to be able to tell cats why he was so angry with the world and those were the only two cats who could say understood him thus he was friendly with them. When they said that Eveningblaze was a kind and mannered cat many just stared in disbelief. Upon losing his mate (see history) and father, he realized that he didn't really have much to live for, his spirit grew cold,and dark as he realized that he had power and that's when he became ambitious. He trained along side his son (See history) and realized his new potential. overall Eveningblaze has had three stages of personality, in his most recent change, he has turned his back on the world, but still keeps up with medicine as he knows that it could save him, he refuses to treat others, they should learn on their own. He has no code to follow thus its him and only him, he likes the life of solitude with his son, they can keep getting stronger....and stronger...until something clicks. He also would be very caring towards a mate and would not force his darkness on anyone else. He wants cats to stay true to themselves...
HISTORY Eveningblaze was the last litter of Splashfur and Hailstar. He had two siblings, Waspstorm and Skyflight, being the son of an almighty leader and famous queen wasn't all it cracked up to be, and Eveningblaze didn't start as a medicine cat either. It all stems back towards when he was an apprentice. He was just like his father in aspects, very true to his clan and would do anything for it. He was ready to make the pledge of a warrior. It was on the day of his warrior assessment that, his life would be changed forever. Upon finishing up, on a hot dry leaf-fall day, he found an odd two-leg object, closer examination made it out to be a red barrel. The dry leaves ended up catching fire causing the red barrel to explode. His sister blamed him for not being able to finish her warrior assessment, and that's where his trust issues stemmed from. Instead of getting help, his sister sat there and watched his he died. His older brother and Cousin had to rush him back to Aurorasong who quickly went to work. Splashfur was pained by the sight of her son having to be in so much pain. She nor Hailclaw at the time, were not allowed in. With quick effforts the medicine cat was able to stop the bleeding, but that's when she had to explain that half his face was gone, and she doubted his ability to become a warrior. As Eveningblaze healed, he came to terms with his injury and trained to be a medicine cat. It was however that this accident made him become closer with his brother Waspstorm. Waspstorm would train his brother in the way of a warrior so he didn't feel left out. He would do so in secret as he enjoyed keeping his muscle mass, but he learned that his skill was to heal the sick, he would keep up his strength but her understood that being a warrior would NEVER be in his future. It made him angry some nights, especially at his siblings warrior ceremony, but that meant nothing. He had other things to worry about, and that was making sure his clan was safe. It wasn't to much later when he and Aurorasong received a dream from StarClan about the lights signaling home. There home was about to be destroyed. The day of the earthquake was devastating, but it meant a new journey for the clans and was okay with it. As they traveled he tended to stay isolated as many of the clans did not like him because of his accident, and he started to get angry once more. When they reached the city, Aurorasong was deemed to be lost. She had gotten up one night, and vanished. Icefang, one of the warriors tracked her towards teh center of the city where her scent mingled with monsters and vanished. Icefang did not catch a fear scent and it appeared that she left willingly. With a missing medicine cat, Eveningpaw took it upon himself to attempt to connect with STarClan. He did not see Aurorasong there but was named Eveningblaze. When a young Squirrelpaw came screaming from the shadows calling him a monster a piece of him shattered, but it was a young Cherrykit who pressed her nose to his wound understanding his pain, and that's when he clicked with her. He didn't want to let this go. For the entire journey he clicked with the kit, and watched over her very closely. When they reached the ocean, things turned for the worst. Kits were being stolen and BirchClan went for ThornClan. Splashfur would do anything for them and risked her life to protect the newly named Hailstar would have died for he did not have nine lives. His mother died and he felt along once more, but Cherrypaw was there for him. When they reached the mountains, Cherrypaw was violated by a large mountain cat. This angered him very much, Cherrypaws 'father' took care of the situation but needless to say he would not be forgiving these mountain cats. There new home came quickly, and just like that the clans quickly forgot how bonded they were. Cherrypaw was part of DuskClan, he ThornClan. There relationship was more than over. "Cherrypaw I can be their father I can be. I'm a medicine cat I can be something your kits can look forward too you just....just come to ThornClan with me." "You can't be their father Eveningblaze a medicine cat can't have kits." "But..." "I need to go" Eveningblaze didn't like being separated from Cherrypaw, what would happen to her and her kits? Eveningblaze went back to his home where he found an injured she-cat. He knew very well if he didn't help her that she would die...just like he would have many moons ago, he took her back to ThorNClan's home where he named her Sunpaw. The two had an instant connection, but there wasn't a day where he didn't think about his love. One Night, Eveningblaze went roaming towards DuskCLans boarder where he saw Cherryfoot and three kits. His heart sunk as he looked at her. "Are you running away?" "Yes....I'm bringing your nieces and Nephews with me. This is Ratkit, Rowankit and Applekit" Eveningblaze instantly connected with them as an uncle and instantly connected to Ratkit. He picked up the small bundle of fur placing him on his back. He lead them to ThornClan where the queen was instantly accepted without distrust. The clans had traveled together there were bound to bonds that could NOT be severed. Eveningblaze watched from afar mentoring Sunpaw and watching the kits grow, but a terrible sickness went through the clans like a wildfire. Icepaw, one of his collegues explained what was happening to BreezeClan, and he was on the look out. There was no cure...and the cats who caught the sickness carried it for a couple weeks before dying. In the middle of the night, he heared a familar raspy voice calling out to him...when he opened his eyes he saw it was Cherryfoot, and she looked dead. His heart shattered and it pained to see her like this. A few days passed he did his best to keep her alive. However she knew, and he knew that it was only a matter of time before she went to StarClan. When Aurorasong went to get some herbs one afternoon, Eveningblaze layed beside her grooming what fur she had left. He didn't care if he got sick. "You are still beautiful, and think come new-leaf we can go for walks and since you are Cherryleaf and know about herbs you can help me and-" "I...Im d-ddying Eveningblaze" Eveningblaze looked down at her with orange eyes watering with tears. "N-no....you can't go....I love you and I've never cared about anyone this much Cherryfoot. You are the only one who doesn't think I'm a monster..." Eveningblaze knew however the queen was suffering and he knew what to do. He placed the death berries in front of her, she didn't hesitate. She said she loved him, and within just a few moments she was gone... His life was never the same. HE stayed fairly quiet, and his spirits fire burnt out. He was just a lifeless tom, heart incredibly broken rejecting any trying to come into his life to help him. When his father died, and Sorrelstar took over, his heart closed up which made him a target for the dark forest. He brought in Ratscar, Cherryfoots son who he claimed as his own. Together 'father and son' trained in darkness. When the war broke out, Ratscar fought against ThornClan killing many of clan mates, Eveningblaze had stuffed prey with death berries as the darkness had over powered him. The one cat he would never hurt was Sunpaw, he had told her to run to run far away, and he hoped that she made it out alive.
