Scorpion trudged along the marsh land, she had just had her run in with lion, and her fresh wound still strickled blood. She could feel the stinging in her cheek but didn't let it bother her. Fur now wet, she continued walking until the trees that protected her hideout came into view. She looked around her, parting her jaws focusing. good there was no one around, she parted the leaves and crawled in. As she walked into the clearing she spotted Falcon, working on her battle moves. Her whiskers twitched with amusement she was turning into a fine fighter someone she could proud of, Hocus was watching over Honeyheart like a hawk, it was starting to look up. She let out a deep sigh, her clan was coming together. They would need to move soon, soon this space would be too small especially once Honeyhearts kits were born. Scorpion would have to go find a large place...she was curious as too whether or r not BirchCLan's camp was still in tack.
"Good job Falcon. IF you can get that fighting move I taught you today down for tomorrow we will be far more advanced, we could fight off any one." Scorpions tail touched her shoulder before moving on. She was more worried about the ginger she-cat who was laying in a moss bed on her side. There was a branch overhang to give her shelter...it wasn't much but it was enough to protect her from the annoyance of Falcons fighting moves and Scorpion walking in and out. She saw the queens heavily bloated belly and winced. She could see the kits kicking and that meant it really would be any moment. "Hey Honeyheart How are-"
"Where have you been?"
Scorpion was taken aback by the sudden urgency in her voice, "I uh...out." Scorpion sat down wrapped her tail around her paws. She learned forward and pressed her nose into the she-cats fur it was hot. SHe looked at Hocus concerned but didn't say anything. She didn't want the she-cat to worry. Any more added stress would not help the situation. Honeyheart lifted her head to look at her, and Scorpion for the first time in a long time, smiled at the queen.
"You were attacked....are you okay? That wound looks deep you should have Hocus look at it I bet she would be great help. She was just telling me how she got into medicine you really should ask her to stay she would be a great help.' The queen mewed softly.
Scorpion nodded. "It's not that bad. You are top priority right now." Scorpion puffed out her chest ever so slightly as the queen talked about hocus as if she were the best thing she had seen in awhile. She twitched her whiskers with amusement whatever kept the she-cat focused and going. She saw Honeyhearts breathing rate increase and Scorpion looked at her with interest. "Any day Honeyheart just keep it up. Gull....watches over you now."
"Gullwing." She corrected.
"Yes right, Gullwing, he's waiting to meet his kits so just keep relaxing and lets get those kits into the world. At least all they will know is Clan life. They won't know what happened and they don't have to." Scorpion could see Honeyhearts eyes glaze over and it looked like she was deep in thought. "I don't want to put any added stress but how was...is your old camp?" Scorpion asked. She didn't want to think about moving right now, but this small little alcove wasn't big enough. Sure it could house four or five more cats comfortably, but if they wanted to REALLY be a clan they would need a camp this wouldn't be enough.
"It...it was intact, the dark forest promised to leave BirchClan alone because of my mothers sacrifice...can we be named PineClan after her Scorpion do you think that's okay?"
Scorpion listened to her talk and nodded. She would have to go searching for it, without the scents of cats around it would be difficult to find that was for sure. The queen continued and Scorpion flinched. She didn't like the idea of added CLAN to their title just yet. They were just a group of four. She felt a bitter taste in her mouth unsure of how to answer. She wasn't sure what she thought about StarClan at this moment and didn't really wan't to be called a clan that had faith in them. "Yes...of course." Scorpion stood up and circled before laying next to the queen. The black she-cat pressed her fur against hers. Honeyheart was the first friend she had in a long time, and she didn't want to ruin it.
