APPEARANCE
Patch is a medium-length haired calico. She has orange and white patches all over her black coat. Or maybe orange and black patches all over her white coat. Or maybe even black and white patches all over her orange coat. It is very hard to tell exactly, but the point is Patch is patched with orange, black, and white so there. She has large paws, boding well for her growth in the future. She will one day be tall and strong. She will never be slim, like some toms like their shecats. She will never be adorable or even 'cute'. As a kit, she is the one cats pay the least attention to simply because of her hearing. Unlike her brothers who are both deaf, Patch has perfectly good hearing, superb even. It makes cats pay less attention to her since she is 'the less interesting one'. This much is true though. Nothing stands out about her (baring her incredibly pale, almost white, blue eyes), until her growth spurt at 8 moons where she shoots straight up and seems to lose control of her paws in the process. After some awkwardness, she will start to fill out widthwise to match her height, but she will always be quite tall. Her face is plain, with a short muzzle and rounded ears. Her whiskers are not too long or too short. Her claws are clawlike. Her teeth are teethlike. Overall, not too interesting of a cat. Not too interesting at all...  personality
Patch just wants to be a part. Her brothers always got the attention. Her brothers always got the guiding paw. Her brother always needed more love. Patch has had such thoughts so deeply ingrained in her psych, she feels guilty for any attention she gets herself. She is always there for Cherry and Gull. She is tough on them sometimes, but only when they scare her or she feels she has to get through to them. She loves her brothers. She needs her brothers. When they smile at her, when they laugh and tackle her, everything that feels so empty does not feel as empty anymore. Their father is gone. Their mother is sick and too weak to lead them. They needed someone to look up to. They needed someone to be there. When no one came, Patch became that someone. For her brothers. She became something more than herself, even if it might have stretched her too thin.
HISTORY Born to Honeyheart in a newly formed Marsh Clan, her mother fell ill under the stress of being both a queen and a leader, causing the clan to nearly fracture and her children to be put in a place of uncertainty. Patch very firmly blamed herself for the disaster. If she had taken more responsibility, stepped up more to help despite being hardly more than a kit herself, maybe her mother would not have gotten sick. Maybe the clan would not have fought as much. Maybe a lot of things would not have happened.
