Ika wasn't sure what all happened, all he knew was he got separated from Crooked-eye and Heavypaw, and he just wanted with them again for some reason. The big one kept him safe, and damn it all, he felt something more for Crooked-eye than he had any other Tom. But what was he to do? He didn't know how to track, it's been moons since he's seen them... He had to admit, at least to himself, that he missed both of the two toms. One a little more than the other, but the want for them both was there.
But now, he was hungry, and tired of walking. He shook off some, sighing as he stopped for now, at least for the moment. He couldn't help but wonder, if he stopped right here, would they be able to find him? Would they find his trail and come looking for him? Would they even want to? was he now on his own? He ached and he was hungry, never having really started those hunting lessons that Crooked-eye had mentioned giving him. They just hadn't gotten around to it before everything just fell apart.
With a heavy sigh he tried to force himself back into walking, the first step was barely made before he stopped again. He was ready to just stop, lay down and just wait for something happen either some cat find him, or his life to end... He was exhausted, hungry, not to mention dirty, he hadn't had the strength to give himself a proper grooming. Bi-colored eyes looked to the sky, blinking a bit when it started to rain a little bit. He frowned, at least it wasn't a thunder storm. He lowered his gaze staring ahead, he felt like crying. With the rain his trail would be gone wouldn't it? Wasn't that how it worked? He wanted.... He didn't know, he slowly moved more to the side of the little path he'd been on and just flopped to the ground, to tired to even bother curling up, not caring he was getting wet. The cold felt nice on his acing body...

The muscular tom walked forward, tail held high and eyes alert. He had left Heavypaw with the group of cats, deciding he wanted to go for a walk. After all, he could always bring back a mouse or two for the queens in the group. They would need food. So he would bring back a few things of prey as payment for leaving the group for a short bit. That was fair.
He slowed his pace, though, as a rain drop fell on him. He looked a the sky as the clouds began to cry a bit harder. He sighed. Well, maybe the prey will have to wait a bit. He decided he would keep walking, though. Why not? Water never hurt him. He didn't mind it at all at the moment.
He turned around a tree and stopped as his orange eyes landed on a cat. He blinked a bit, head tilting. Why did this cat seem so familiar? Many cats had that fur color. But the way the body was shaped. His eyes widened a bit and he leaped down from the roots. He moved towards the cat, but didn't get too close.
"Ika.... Ika, is that really you?" he asked, looking at the form on the ground. The poor tom looks so skinny and worn out. He didn't know where along the way they had gotten separated, but it had happened. And Heavypaw and himself had searched for the smaller cat. With no success, until now.

This was it, he must be dying. Now he heard Crooked-eye over the sound of the falling rain. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry, so he probably did a little bit of both. Two different colored eyes were turned to look at the cat, a soft smile on his face. "It's, good to see you again." he spoke his voice a bit rough and raspy. huh, was that really his voice? Probably from not having anything to eat lately, or perhaps the few times he had called for the two toms hoping they'd been close enough to hear him. No matter, there was nothing he could do, right? Right. He took a deep breath licking some of the water from his own lips since he was pretty soaked. It was cool and refreshing. He slowly moved to curl his way onto his stomach more than laying on his side. His limbs shook even with that much effort. He hummed softly, letting his eyes close once he was on his stomach, his legs weakly tucked under him. "mustn't... be long now then." he whispered softly. He was going to die wasn't he? Is that why his mind was giving him such an image of Crooked-eye? Had to be, right?

Crooked-eye was so confused at what the tom was saying. What wasn't going to be long? Did Ika think Crooked-eye was a figment of his imagination? He looked around. "Wait one second, I'll be right back," he said. He turned and bounded off. His eyes were wide, but it wasn't long before he spooked a bird. It let out a shriek as it flew. Crooked-eye took a flying leap and caught it midair, killing it quickly.
He returned to the tom and put the robin right in front of him. "Ika, eat this. You're going mad," he said, huffing as he tried to catch his breath from rushing.

Ika was surprised his phantom Crooked-eye was rushing off. He whined softly and had made a move to follow, but he slumped against the ground more instead, sighing sadly. He watched the figure until it was to blurred by rain and he closed his eyes, but something was dropped before him and his eyes opened again blinking as his nose twitched. This bird, smelled very weird. He looked up head tilting to a slight side in some confusion. Was.. Was he really here then?
The smell of meat had him ignoring the thoughts in his brain and he couldn't help but move, paws pulling the bird closer, and started plucking feathers out of his way before he tore into it. He ate like the starving animal he was, leaving little if anything edible behind. When he finished what he could, he was cleaning his face and paws, blinking after a moment he looked up at the other tom. He smiled softly.. "Y..you're really here.." he was crying again, but the rain hid it better than his voice did. He struggled to his feet, but he was soon standing and stepping closer, head butting against the other tom's shoulders. I... I couldn't find either of you.." he whispered softly, but loud enough for the other cat to hear.

Crooked-eye waited patiently for the tom to eat. His tail curled a bit as he heard the crying in the tom's voice. He licked his ear comfortingly, wrapping a paw around him to pull him closer. He brushed their cheeks together. "Yes, I'm really here. And I'm sorry. We couldn't find you either, Ika. But it doesn't matter now. We've found each other. You're safe."
He looked down at the feminine tom again, eyes shining. "Let's get out of the ran. There's an old badger's den not too far from here," he said, getting to his paws. He headed that way, but at a slow pace so that Ika could conserve his energy, as well as lean on Crooked-eye if he needed to.

Ika smiled, unable to help it as he was given affection from the other Tom, he gave a slight nod and moved along side of Crooked-eye. For the most part he walked on his own, but after awhile he started slumping a bit against the other Tom as his steps slowed. He was tired, and he wasn't sure how much farther he'd be able to walk. He didn't want to just drop and have Crooked-eye give up on him though, not after just finally being found by him again. So he pushed himself to keep moving. After a while, or felt awhile he asked softly, "Is...it much farther?" He hated how tired he sounded, but at this point in time there probably would be no hiding it. With a breath he pushed himself to lean less on Crooked-eye, if he kept leaning against him he was liable to just fall asleep and then he didn't know what would happen and he probably didn't want to know, he didn't want to think he'd be left behind, but he didn't know otherwise.

Crooked-eye purred a bit as he turned and the badger's den was right there. He pushed into it, shaking off the rain and sitting down in the dry, warm den. "Rest, Ika. There's a group of cats not too far from here that Heavypaw and I are staying with. We can go to them when you've gained a bit of your strength," he said, laying down. He motioned for Ika to lay next to him.
"You're safe now, I'll keep you safe. The group is safe. We'll take care of you and teach you how to hunt as well. Trust me," he said warmly. He couldn't believe they had actually found each other. It was a miracle! It was so odd and he wondered what Heavypaw's reaction will be when the massive tom saw Ika again. He hoped it was a good reaction.

Ika was relieved when it was there after a turn, letting Crooked-eye to go first he slowly entered after, shaking off as much of the water as he could manage to, only stopping when he nearly fell over from trying to shake it off. He barely made the few steps over to Crooked-eye before he collapsed, leaning a bit heavily against the other tom. He sighed softly, a faint purring escaping him as his bi-colored eyes closed. "Thank you." he murmured softly. He had a lot to thank him for, but he was to tired for specifics. It didn't take long for the creamy orange tabby to fall asleep, tired from having been wandering around in hopes of finding the very tom he laid next to. Hopefully when he woke he would still be there and it hadn't all been some cruel joke thought up by his imagination. His heart wouldn't be able to take it if that were the case.

Crooked-eye laid his head on his paws as well, closing his orange eyes. He too fell asleep, letting his tail rest on Ika's side. A few hours later, he woke up. He let out a yawn, blinking the sleep from his eyes. For a second, he forgot where he was. But then he smell Ika next to him and all the memories from a few hours ago came rushing back. He purred a bit, pressing his nose to Ika's shoulder again. He still couldn't believe he had found him.

Ika was sleeping peacefully, the best sleep he's gotten in the moons apart from Crooked-eye, probably because he hadn't sought out another tom to take care of him like he normally would have. The tom had done something mighty fierce to him.
So, when something was pressing against his shoulder, he sighed mewling a bit as he slowly stretched some, eyes blinking open as he looked around. The world still looked bleary and a bit fuzzy, but his eyes landed on Crooked-eye and he smiled. Slowly sliding to lay more on his back, a paw gently coming up to brush against the other toms head, hooking behind one of his ears to pull him down to where he could reach. Ika was then licking at Crooked-eye's face, all to happy to have him here beside him again, and wanting to shower him in affections. He was to tired to get up to do so properly, so hopefully the other tom didn't mind the little bit of man handling to get him into reach.

Crooked-eye purred a bit as Ika licked his face. His tail curled happily, eventually twining with Ika's. He didn't try and move out of the tom's reach, nor did he even want to. So he just let it happen. His ears flattened to his head, allowing the tom more room for the affections.
"Ika, its been so long," he purred, cuddling into the smaller tom. He, undoubtedly had more scars than he did before Ika and him had been separated, but that was the life of being a rogue. Some weren't even scars yet, just healing wounds. To be all honest, he was even missing a bit of his tail, just barely the tip of it. Besides that, though, nothing really changed on him.

Ika nodded, smiling softly up at the bigger tom, pausing in his affections to look up at him. "It has... Have you been okay? Is Heavypaw okay?" He vaguely remembered Crooked-eye mentioning some group of cats. That Heavypaw was with them if he remembered right. He sighed, giving Crooked-eye's face another few licks before fully pulling back, paw sliding from around his head to rest against his chest, smiling gently up at the other tom. He was lucky that Crooked-eye had found him. If another cat had found him he could of been left for dead, or heck even made into dinner. He hadn't had the strength to even offer himself, and here Crooked-eye still took care of him. Ika started purring a bit loudly as he looked up at the larger tom, eyes taking in his figure better than last night, frowning at marks he didn't recall. It's been a rough time for the tom it seems. "Do... you know what had happened exactly?"

Crooked-eye nodded. "Yes, we're both fine. A few new wounds, but nothing that was life threatening," he explained. He let the silence take over for a few minutes, both of them examining one another. Ika definitely had to put on some more weight and muscle. Once that happened, he would be healthy and strong again. Then Crooked-eye would be able to train him. Or someone else would, depending on if the clan was up and running at the time.
His ear twitched as he heard the question. He thought over for a moment and shook his head. "No, I don't know exactly what happened. I just remember telling you to run, I think. And that Cavernpaw and I would be there shortly. Then everything went dark and when I woke up, I was alone. Cavernpaw and I found each other a few days later, but we could never find you."

Ika gave a faint nod, smiling softly. "I'm sorry you've gotten hurt.. but I'm glad you're okay" he tilted his head watching him, but sighed, a soft smile still on his face, "I'm glad you found each other easy enough. It'd be upsetting to hear you hadn't found each other.. I..." he hesitated looking off to a side, "You, don't deserve to be alone. You're both very good cats." he stated gently, probably blushing a bit under his fur if that was possible for a feline. He slowly moved, rolling over to his side a little bit, brushing his head against Crooked-eye's shoulder. "Do you want to head back to Cavernpaw? He might be worried. You were gone all night..?" Ika pulled his head from the other tom's shoulder, eyes glimpsing down his frame. A few new marks on his pristine fur, but other wise the same as he last saw him. He noticed his tail looked a bit different, but he didn't press on the matter, not wanting to upset the tom especially after just finding him, or rather after Crooked-eye just found him.
