Marshclan's camp consists of a small clearing built into the side of an overhanging hill. The elder's den and apprentice's den consist of small holes- the former once a bager set- dug into the wall of earth. Bushes make up the nursery and warriors den on the opposite side of camp, and nearest to the elder's den is a leafy burrow that marks the medicine cat's den. A small stream, half underground, runs through camp, passing just in front of the healer's den and making for easy water access and a safe place for kits to play. A canopy of ivy and vines surrounds the camp and protects it from direct sunlight, stretching both above their heads and around their dens. As opposed to a traditional bramble wall, stones are piled where the vines end. The leader calls their meetings from the Tallstone, a large boulder near the hind wall of camp and just between the nursery and the medicine cat's den. Beneath the stone is a small cavern, in which the leader lives. Not a single bramble touches the camp, and the ground is lined with soft clovers.

Rocky terrain, thin underbrush, and peaty marshland, Marshclan's territory is an interesting one to maneuver. Small ponds and streams dot the thin forests, and massive boulders can be found strewn throughout the wood. The trees are young and generally thin, their birches and oaks contrasting with the cedars, firs, and pines that populate the rest of the basin. Undergrowth is sparse, although ferns and bushes can be found here and there. This territory is surrounded on either side by lakes and is ideal for any cat who enjoys a good swim. Or a frog to eat. There are troubles with beavers certain times of the year, but for the most part the land is bright, open, easily maneuverable, chilly, and comfortable. It is also the most highly elevated of all the territories. The most common sorts of prey found here are frogs, geckos, fish, freshwater crabs, birds of all sizes, voles, shrews, and the rare turtle.

Board Information & Statistics

Mountain Marshes
Surrounded by rivers and lakes, the Mountain Marshes are higher in elevation than the rest of the lands in the basin. They're closest to the largest of the mountains- those which touch Starclan. With plenty of water and marshy land, these forests are perfectly suited to cats who have an aquatic preference. The oak and birch trees are spaced in fair distance to one another, but are still close enough to be considered a forest. Boulders dot the landscape and the undergrowth is light and easily maneuverable (so long as you don't mind a little mud on your paws). Lakes surround the territory on either side, and streams and ponds crisscross the area.
